I personally love Allen Edmonds shoes and their company story as a whole. I like the idea of buying primarily Made in the USA shoes. But this pair was a near nightmare(no fault of Nordstrom). I had tons of quality control issues from boot stitching, coloring, and packaging. I am not be returning type but I was forced to try to swap them three times before eventually just giving up. Allen Edmonds quality control has taken a hit in the last few years; I will still purchase their products but this is how they lose quality customers.
The shoe looks better in picture than real, The color of the shoe affected the sole not good. The heal wasn’t smooth as it supposed to be. I have the pictures but don’t want to post it. I wasn’t happy because I was disappointed about the shoe, it makes me to change what I wanted to put on that day.
As always, had a great experience with Nordstrom customer service. The following day I received a voice message from Nordstrom representative stating that the order was shipped. Received an email with shipment confirmation. I was informed to expect shipment within 5-6 business. After 3 days I received the order, above expectations. The packaging was excellent, the boots where great looking.
