The Dalton - The Boot for every occasion

The Dalton - If you are looking for a versatile boot that can be dressed up for suits or can be worn on weekends with Jeans, this is it! It fits great and is very comfortable. The Dalton comes in Dark Chocolate or Walnut, but I love the look of the Walnut...very sharp.

I own this in both Walnut and Cordovan Shell. The boots workmanship is perfect and I found the break in quite easy. I get the most compliments when I wear these to work. Great with slacks and sports coat or jeans on the weekend

First, I must say I love these shoes! They are so comfortable, and I'm constantly getting compliments. The double thick sole has a good feel to it too. I have grown accustomed to wearing boots, so it is nice to have a pair that I can wear in the office now too!
I did have one issue when I first got them, the stitching by the 4th eyelet started to unravel after only two wears. The store nearby in New Orleans provided excellent customer service and Mr. Gerald was very helpful. Within a couple of days, I had a fresh replacement pair at my door. These ones seem to be holding up very well, and get more and more comfortable with every wear!
I do have one question though - with thick boots like these, how are you supposed to straight lace them like in the picture and still be able to tighten it up? I have tried different variations, but the standard cross lace is the only thing that works for me.
