I've never owned a dress boot before, but the Dalton fits very comfortably and looks great. The burnished walnut is a stylish color, and amazing to me, they took only one wearing to break the sole in so it flexed well with walking. The construction is clearly painstaking and well finished. Best of all, my feet a little hinky from jock injuries, but these boots are great for pounding pavement. The ankle fit seems to allow my foot more natural movement in the shoe.

The best boots I've ever owned.

I own 7 pairs of boots, and these are by far the best I've ever worn. I can wear these all days and it's like I've been wearing athletic trainers. The boots look fantastic with anything, dressed up or dressed down.
Now, these aren't rugged work boots, so don't go wearing them to a construction site. If you work indoors, though, you just can't go wrong.

It's versatile, durable, and pretty good looking to boot. I've bought a pair in light brown and will probably pick up a pair in chocolate as well. Hands down the best boot I've ever had the pleasure of buying, good for everything from Jeans to Suits.

I bought these as a gift to myself and could not be happier. I currently have ten pair of AE shoes and these are most definitely my favorite. They were comfortable out of the box and felt like a dream on the third wearing. When I'm standing nobody can tell that they are anything other than great looking shoes. Every time I sit and my pants pull up slightly I get a lot of comments like (I thought they were just beautiful shoes but they are unbelievable boots). All of my AE's are great fits and I get comments almost every day about the different kinds of shoes I wear. I just ordered a new pair of Nassau for the spring and summer, I can not wait for the weather to get nice so I can start wearing them.
