Best boot I've owned

Wore these boots right out of the store in San Francisco. Kept them on all day.....they didn't need any breaking-in at all. Have worn them a couple of times a week now for the past 9 months and couldn't be happier. Quality and craftsmanship are top shelf.

First Boot I've Owned

This is the first dress boot I've owned, and I'm still getting used to the idea, but really enjoy wearing them. I wear them with jeans, or chinos in our business casual environment at the office. While standing or walking, no one would know I've got boots on. But sitting, brings on a whole new look. I find it a bit 'strange' driving a car, or getting in and out, having a boot fairly tightly around my ankle. Operating the gas pedal or brake takes getting used to. Only had them for just over a week, and I find it hard not to wear them every day...I'm not sure when the novelty will wear off. Walnut looks great with almost anything...I've worn with jeans, dark blue chinos, dark brown cords, and even black chinos. You really can't go wrong with them. After my first experience with the walnut colour, I'm debating pulling the trigger on some walnut Strands too!

Gorgeous boot

This is a fantastic boot. I wear it casually when I am looking to dress things up a bit. Works very well with jeans or khakis/cords/etc. Haven't had any problems with comfort, fit or breaking them in. I did follow one reviewers post and don't pull it on with the tab in the back, but I love these boots and they fit as you would expect your AE shoes to fit. I have noticed a bit of a squeak from time to time coming from the sole, but it's hardly noticeable or bothersome.

Very pleased with the craftsmanship. This dress boot looks great with all of my favorite dress pants. I receive compliments every time I wear them. I found them comfortable right out of the box.
