Great shoe, great color. Love AE shoes. Buying from nordstrom is a huge plus, not only do you get a great shoe, but even better customer service. BUY FROM NORDSTROM- NO WHERE ELSE!

From the moment you fist lace them up you can feel the excellent quality and craftsmanship that goes into this boot. Very comfortable right from the start. I love them. Wear them with a suit or with casual pants, you can't go wrong with this boot.

I was really looking forward to the arrival of my first pair of AE boots; when they arrived, they looked great out of the box. They run a little long. Followed AE website's suggestions for how to care for shoes and boots; conditioned and creme polished. I've worn them three times, immediately off my feet, brushed and into the shoe bag when home. I noticed the cracking around the medallion perforations about three weeks ago, and have been surveying folks on StyleForum about what to do. Mixed reviews, but I'm officially concerned now. Hopefully, Nordstrom's customer service will be stellar, concur and switch out these (probably long-in-the-tooth/long-on-the-shelves) pair for a pair that look the same. They shouldn't be seconds - they weren't priced as such. Disappointed...

The Dalton boot is a very classy piece of fine work from Allen Edmonds. The fit is superb and feels like a fine fitting glove. The detail of the boot including the color is very pleasing to the eye. The boot exhibits a conservative look while a ribbon of style and fashion is woven throughout the shoe. Any man looking to make a fashion statement with style and class with a time tested product, this is the shoe for you!
