Excellent Wingtip Boot

Classy boot can't wait to start wearing them more. Probably one of the better wingtips I have seen and the fit is next level. Obviously you will need to know your size with AE shoes to achieve that. Since this was my first pair I ordered a 10D, 9.5D, a 10B to choose from. I am usually a 10 medium in most shoes but I did not like the fit and look of the 10D. With my foot size it actually gave the boot a bulkier look which caused the shoe to be less sleek. I choose the 10 narrow(10B) which look amazing and was also extremely comfortable. I could have easily wore the 9.5D but it altered the look which wasn't for me. IMO you can wear a particular size shoe but have a few options to choose from when manufactures like AE offer you multiple widths. I obviously prefer the form fitting, longer and more narrow look. I would have given 5 stars but the quality control needs to be addressed. Please look over your shoes especially around the soles. I had to order a second pair because the original 10B should have never left the manufacturer. Awesome boot and well worth the hassle of returning. Hands down my new favorite shoe/boot. I need the black Daltons immediately...

Incredible craftsmanship. Top of the line and "American" made. Very stylish for a trend look to be worn with casual jeans or even a suit. Very happy with the product.

Best Darn Boot Around. Period!

This shoe in both its design and craftsmanship is an old world classic. The supple feel and high quality of the leather is impeccable. It's darn comfortable right out of the box. The rich hue in tan is the perfect foil for the seasonal colors with which this shoe will most probably be paired. The double oak tanned leather sole is perfectly weighted for the design and mass of this boot. I see this boot being casually combined with flannel, corduroy, or moleskin "rat-catchers", but also with my English, Irish and Scottish tweed suits. Yeah, I like tweed, and this is the shoe for it. I must admit though, that the boot even appears to pair well with denim jeans as worn by the little guy on the website. The only thing that would have improved the item would have been a combination leather & synthetic insert sole due to the probable weather conditions when wearing the boot. Nonetheless, an excellent quality item, so don't miss out!
