Proshigh end classic
Absolutely one of the finest shoes I have ever owned and I have owned many at prices far greater than the price for these. Extremely comfortable first time worn; like I had worn them for years. True fit size. They look fantastic; a real high end looking shoe with a tuxedo without that "sort of" cheap patent leather look because these are all real leather with a high buff gloss.
I took them out of the box and wore them to 5-plus hour father-daughter dance with my teenage daughter who likes to dance; fit like a glove.
If you are looking for a high end, classic looking, long lasting shoe to be worn with formal wear - buy these!

Proscomfortable
ConsMedium width
I have owned several pairs of shoes from Mezlan, all of which have been great. Too my knowledge most tuxedo shoes are quite uncomfortable. Given the fact that when you are dressed to the NINES you are usually up and about. Something comfortable would be keen.
These shoes definitely lasted the evening of dancing and I felt great the next day. Old tux shoes.....say goodbye.

I bought these without seeing them in person, only one photo here on the website.
I like that they have non-patent leather aross the vamp where the shoe creases from walking, because they will probably look more gently worn than full patent shoes in that area. That was my primary attraction to these. They seem well constructed.
I do not like the way they look in person. No buckle, I know, but they looked like shoes worn in early colonial america with knickers. They are shaped with a more centered point at the toe than many men's shoes. The disappointing look and feel outweighed the positive qualities.
I exchanged them for the Boss Mellion which looks closer to a traditional patent/bow formal pump with modern influence and is a better fit.

Prosgorgeous
These are absolutely gorgeous and well crafted. Definitely will be around for a long time. First day I wore them I got compliments from construction workers. That must say it all!
