Very classy dress with a little bit of sexy. The dress is very high quality and has a flattering cut. However, the dress does run small. I usually wear a 2 in dresses occasionally a 4. I ordered the dress on sale in these two sizes. I ended up keeping the 4 but it is snug and I might have preferred a 6.

I am 5'6" and weigh 130 lbs. I wear a size 32D bra so I am not tiny. The top part of the dress was way too big and the bottom pretty tight. It is made for someone who is tiny on the bottom and big on top.

Fabulous dress with a fabulously 'snug' fit!
I've seen this dress on many women in Hollywood. Most recently worn by Angela Bassett in the movie "Jumping the Broom." The dress does fall right below the knee so be cognizant of your height and weight proportion. It it's too long---tailor it! This dress is worth it.
Love Black Halo's designs and quality of handmanship and fabric.

I'm a big fan of Black Halo dresses, so I was thrilled to find one in the Anniversary Sale. I typically wear a size 2 or XS in Black Halo--my size 2 "Jackie Mini" is a perfect fit, and even a bit tight after dinner, and my XS jersey dress is also fitted. I ordered the amethyst in a size 2, but it was way too large! It's a very different fit than the "Jackie Mini" so I'd suggest ordering down at least one size. Also, it's very long. I'm 5'2" and would have needed to hem it about 6 inches. Overall, Black Halo dresses are beautiful and high quality, but I had to send it back because of the fit.
