This dress is super flattering and I love it. Very well made too. Just a couple notes: it's much, much darker than the picture, but still very nice color. The beading and sequins are somewhat heavy which pulls the dress down, exposing a little more cleavage than I wanted. And, it runs very large. I ordered according the sizing chart, but should have heeded the warnings that it ran big. Real big. So I ended up ordering/returning/ordering/returning until I found that instead of a 20P, I was a 16P, and really, could probably have gone to a 14P. If you have any sort of defined waist, consider having it taken in by a tailor, otherwise if it's running big on you, your waist sort of disappears. It's fully lined, so no slip needed! I love it, and am just going to have it altered.
If you get grease stains on this dress, it does respond to spot cleaning. Dry cleaning did not get them out. But as I ended up helping serve at this wedding I got grease stains on the front. I used "simple green" spot cleaning product and it got out most spots, with not affect on the fabric color or texture.. I am going to re-treat the leftover ones and hopefully they will go away too.
BTW the customer service was awesome and shipping was free to send and return. They really accommodated my dilemma, as this was for an upcoming wedding. And, they even arranged the U.S.P.S. pickup of my returns because otherwise I would have had to go to the P.O. and wait in eternal lines. Literally, the next day U.S.P.S. was at my door to pick up my returns. I think Nordstrom has the best online-shopping experience out there for clothing. The only other place I really shop online is amazon, but I would not shop for clothing there. Anyway, I love the dress and highly recommend it. You will wear it again and again.

I had read the reviews on this dress that stated it ran large by 1 size. I ordered one size down and it fit perfectly when I put it on! Will be wearing it to my son's wedding.

I bought this for my daughter's wedding and it is perfect. It fits well, is lovely and sophisticated. I am so comfortable in it which is important for such an important day.
