Great color and cut
PostedDecember 15, 2015
I have short, thick legs and few jeans brands work for me. J Brand being one of them! Of course I have to hem them but as Nordstrom provides that service, it's not a problem. The color is very dark blue, almost black, mid-rise so covers a little pooch and stretchy enough to hug properly when moving but not too much where it sags within a couple days. Things I didn't like were the gold stitching and it seemed a little too starchy. I'm all about comfort so it seemed an interesting mix of stretch and starch. Which I predict would go away after a couple washes but I don't know. I returned in the end since I got a size too big (plus the aforementioned issues) since that was all they had left so I can't comment on the perfect fit.

These jeans were perfect. I went a size up from my Paige size, but they were true to my Rag and Bone size. I'm 5'3", and a muscular 125 and 29s were perfect. Plus no hemming required.

Good jean, but scratchy fabric
PostedDecember 9, 2015
I love the color of these jeans--they're a rich dark rinse with no fading or whiskering, which I personally love. The fit was good, although they do run a bit small and I wish I had sized up one (I normally take a 24, and I took a 24 in these, but they're a tad tight at the waist). They retain their shape pretty well throughout the day, but if you do wear them several times before washing, they start to bag a little at the knees. The fabric is thin and stretchy, but feels scratchy. I haven't washed them yet so it might be something that goes away with washing. Aside from the fabric, it's a good quality jean that fits well. They're more of a dressy jean, but probably not my first choice on days when I'm feeling lazy or want to be comfortable.

Prosit's ok, just different
I'm 5'3 100 lbs. Size 24. These pants are really tight (and I'm really skinny. Fabric seems like wearing leggings which was fine to me. Beautiful dark color, just extremely tight. I had to return them. These jeans run a little long as well. If you are short like me, you might have to fix them. Order one size up.
