I am obsessed with this boot! First of all, it is absolutely adorable! Second, it is so comfortable, and third, it is the most practical thing I own! Definite buy!
With the unpredictable Michigan weather, I was looking for a sensible boot that was cute, comfortable, and WARM. I have only been able to wear these boots a handful of times currently, but they are comfortable, warm, and stylish. They have a great glittery finish that doesn't randomly flake off. I was advised to get a half-size up, as I am usually a 7.5. However, these boots seem to be wide (which is great for me), so I think I would have been fine with ordering my true size. But if you are like me, a thick pair of socks should make the 1/2 size up a perfect! A great tip for buying Sorel boots would be to go on their official website and look at their line of boots since they do have a "Best For:" area that indicates what kind of weather these boots are best in!
The only reason I am rating this product at a 4 is because I haven't been able to witness their ability in light snow yet, since it all melted before I had purchased this boot!
I have been looking for a pair of waterproof snow boots with not much luck. Due to the fact that I had foot surgery this past year and my feet always hurt, this was not an easy hunt. Sorel boots have a very good reputation so I gave these a go. First of all, the picture on line makes them look sparkly and cute. In person, not so much! They look very cheap. When I tried them on, they seemed a little narrow for my foot. I think for someone without any foot issues the width would be fine, not too wide and not too narrow. As for the length, with heavy socks they would just fit without much wiggle room. They are also somewhat heavy. Unfortunately, They are going back to Nordstrom.
I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them! They are fine quality and backed by the Sorel reputation. I have had a pair of Sorels for many years and cannot say enough about them. My feet never get cold! They're also very fashionable. Love them!
