HUGE HIT

Prosadorable, comfy&warm
My teen daughter adores these. She was coveting my Joan of Arc grey boots, so I thought these, with the quilted tan shaft and hot pink laces would be perfect for her. She opened the box and put them RIGHT on, then wore them into ballet that night. That is the sign of complete success. Since then, she has commented that they are soooo comfy and warm. Unlike her Uggs (her many pairs), they stay dry and keep her warm.

Chicago Weatherproof!

Last year during the "Polar Vortex," I had to get through the winter with Ugg boots. Although it mostly did the job, I needed to look for a sturdier and warmer boot. I found these from an ad sent to my email. I went to the Nordstrom store and a sales girl recommended these to me as well. She had also personally used these during the winters and swore by it. So I was sold. I have been wearing them this winter and they are definitely waterproof. No cold gets in so far. I haven't been out in negative degree weather but I am sure the insulation will be enough, especially if you wear wool socks it'll be more than enough. Because the boot is lace up, it fits wider calfs and you can even tuck in pants without it getting too bulky. The faux fur at the top hasn't shed yet and I don't expect this to be a problem. The traction at the bottom is also very helpful.
If you're looking for a boot that will be good for winter, especially a Midwest winter, this is a great choice!

Proscomfortable and
I bought these boots for a trip to Colorado this winter season. So far I've only worn them around town in the rain so i can't comment on how they work in snow. The boots are very comfortable and stylish. I usually wear a size 7.5 but bought an 8 to make room for a thick sock.

I have decided to keep these boots over a pair of LL Bean boots that I had purchased. These are a couple inches taller which looks and feels better being a tall gal. Second, the Tofino's are stylish and look great with whatever attire you choose to wear. Third, I walked a mile in them on the second day and found them quite comfortable! They are lightweight and aren't rigid like many boots. Lastly, despite it being 27 degrees today, my feet were toasty warm. The only reason I give them four stars is that they run a bit small. I originally ordered my usual size (9), but there wasn't any room for my toes. I went up to a 9.5 which I think will be fine. I can just feel the front of the boot with wool socks, but they aren't tight. My fear with going to a 10 is that they would be too wide/big. I am very pleased that they run narrow! With all of that said, so far I am very happy I purchased the Tofino!
