I am shopping for my MOG dress. This dress is a little too big. The beading work is beautiful; however, the color choice of white beads makes the dress look a little "cheap". If the designed would've chosen a silvery or gold metalic bead to replace the white ones, this dress would rock!
I'm not sure what is going on with the hem - at both the front and back hems there are machine sewn seams about 3 or 4 inches in length, about 1/2 inch up. I noticed it on another dress in the same color...assuming there must be some purpose? Perhaps to even out the illusion of consistency of the hem at the bottom?
The length seems rather short for a floor length. I would have to wear flats w/no heels with it.

I loved this dress. It was a little too large for me in the size I ordered, but it is really lovely. It was flattering AND comfortable!

Prosgreat buy!, comfortable, gorgious

My son got married July7,2012. I was asked by the bride to wear a champagne colored dress. I found this one on line, and continued to come back to it. I got a 14, but ended up calling one of your stores and found a 12 petite. I went to the store and tried it on and it fit quite well. (I have a very small butt and hips, but I am larger on top, more in through the back and under arms.) When I got the dress home, I had a friend of mine hem it to Tea length, as I knew I would kick off my shoes to dance and did not want to be the only one wearing a long dress except for the bride. It looked great! About 3 weeks before the wedding I tried it on and discovered the arm holes were cut rather large and I had fat showing under the arm. So I took pieces from the hem and made a half circle and sewed them at the bottom of the arm hole and tacked up the little sleeve underneath. It WORKED! You did not see fat coming out of the dress under my arm (I am short and my husband is tall, so I would have to raise my arms all the time for slow dancing. Plus when I would reach forward to get something you could see the back fat part of my arm. ) But my little add on took care of this problem and NO ONE was the wiser!! I could not beat the price and I had a ton of compliments on it. When my son first saw me he was stunned and said "Mom, that dress is amazing, and it looks great on you!" I have strawberry blonde hair and it looked very nice with my complexion. It does run large. I took measurements, and it had me in a 14 and I ended up with a 12 Petite.

Prosuncomfortable, sharp beads
ConsPetite
The bodice is covered in beads and sequins that are sharp and scratch your upper arm. After wearing it for only a few minutes, my inner arms felt raw from rubbing over the beads. The only way to wear this dress is to hold your arms away from your sides at all times.
