I can't believe this skirt has such good reviews. I am 5'6 and ordered size small, which fit perfectly. However the material is so thin that it shows every lump and bump. I would only feel comfortable wearing this with a Spanx underneath, but I was looking for a comfortable and casual skirt, not something that requires a Spanx in order to maintain decency. The material feels cheap, although I admit that the silhouette is flattering (from afar).
I'm only 5' 1" and I read all the reviews about it being too short. I didn't heed everyones advice and sure enough it was way too short. Sent it back for regular length
So I have gained a few pounds and no longer on my modeling days :( But one can always age in style. I accept my curvy body and not so flat tummy. This bobeau skirt elongates my figure as well as conceals any flaws. The ruching on the hips and asymmetrical cut in the waist are concealers for any problems in the tummy/hips area. The best is the length, at 5'9 it reaches the floor so I can even wear platforms. One can create many outfits with this skirt, depending on the top be casual or more elegant.
