I am 5'7" and about 135 - 140 lbs. The regular small fits me snugly. I love the soft material; it feels comfortable on the skin. My husband likes it and finds it feminine, which is a plus, of course.

Great fit, I usually wear a 6 in shorts and pants so I got the small. It's just right, not too tight at all. Very soft material. Can't wait to wear it!!

Amazingly Comfortable

I wore this skirt today to work and it was so comfortable. I'm a multiple subject sixth grade teacher and was doing the "Cha Cha Slide" in it while teaching PE today, just to give you an idea of how the fabric moves well with your body. I have worn it to church with a more dressed up look. Today I wore it with espadrilles and changed into Skechers for PE time. The skirt looks great with a variety of shoes. I like the rouching on it but you also have the option of wearing a longer top and covering up the rouching without it looking bulgy. I highly recommend this skirt. It goes with everything. I'm 5'5" and it is not too short or too long. With the elastic waist, you can always pull it down or up to fit your body.

I've been looking for a red maxi for the last year and this one is perfect. The red velvet color is just stunning! And the fabric is silky soft. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and ordered this to wear to a Valentine's Day dinner. It is quite long (and I'm 5'7"), so for now I'm pulling the waist up and over my belly. After the baby, I'll probably have it hemmed so the asymmetrical waist sits where it should. I'd say the size chart is correct, I'm normally a medium/8-10 and I ordered the large which fits fine.
