I was excited to get this skirt for summer. Unfortunately it is designed for extremely tall women. I can typically fold it the maxi skirt over and it works, but because there is side detail it does not work. Not recommended for women under 5'7". However, the material is heavenly!

The fabric is soft, yet substantial (e.g. doesn't show every little detail) and the gathering at the waste is a nice touch. The only thing is, it is so long! I'm 5'5" and skirt was still several inches too long. Fortunately free alterations offers easy solution (just an extra step to take before you can wear it). I think this will be great for both easy, casual wear and a little dressier for evening.

This skirt is a fabulous fabric. The ruched side seams add a nice touch. It runs pretty long (and I'm 5'9-1/2") so anyone shorter would have to have it shortened. I bought the black but would definitely consider buying another color. The sale price made it that much more attractive.

Love this skirt in black for teaching. I teach pre-k so I have to be able to sit on the floor comfortably. I'm 5'10" so I appreciate the extra length. I think this skirt fits true to size.
