I saw this bag in a high end boutique in Pittsburgh and loved the look but hated the price tag!! I waited til fall to see if anyone else carried it and behold - found it at Norsdstrom. Since I carry way too much in my handbags - I have been looking for one that has great design, is light and doesn't look like I am going camping. This is a beautiful bag with lots of functional compartments but also looks classy. I'd love to go the anchor store sometime in NY but have looked at their website and actually like this bag the best. If you know the company TUMI which designs well made functional luggage - MZ Wallace reminds me of something in their line.

Looks like a Fat Hobo when loaded

I own 3 other MZ Wallace bags and they are perpetually in rotation. I added this black one because I wanted more of a black staple piece that has better storage than my other ones. Despite all of the pockets and compartments, none can hold a bottle of water, small sippy cup, or article of clothing. In fact, I didn't even use all of the compartments because if I did, the purse sagged both downward and outward, resulting in an unfortunate wannabe fat hobo look. After a while that shape held even when I only carried a wallet and phone. I'm sticking to my other MZ Wallace bags that are home-runs.

This is my second MZ Wallace bag, and I bought it in the plum color at the Bellevue Square Nordstrom. I had actually gone in to buy a Marc Jacobs but stopped by to look at what MZ had going on. This bag is fabulous -- roomy, but light. I love the way (on mine, anyway) the gold and the plum look together. It's a great color, very versatile. And I can tell you from experience that these bags are durable and easy to clean. I can fit everything I need in this bag and it's not ginormous.
