Love these shoes!

My podiatrist recently informed me that my foot pain was the result of fallen arches due to aging, and that I needed to wear special insoles in my shoes to keep my feet properly aligned. In looking for shoes with removable insoles, I came across these. Unlike a lot of such shoes, these look really nice, not frumpy. They aren't terribly rigid, but offer enough support to keep my insoles in place and my feet properly positioned. I love the ease of lacing with the large metal "eyes"--easy on and easy off. I normally wear a size 7M and these fit perfectly. I love the gray and beige colors, and the fabrics are classy. The shoes are slimming on the feet, as well. My Favorite Sneaker

This is my fourth pair. Bought other brands last year, only to return them as soon as I tried them on. They're comfortable and take a beating. Wouldn't think of buying anything else and I own them in different colors.

Attractive But Could Be More Comfortable

These walking shoes are attractive, and although roomy in the toe, they are not very comfortable in the sole. I was surprised that they are not comfortable on the bottoms of my feet because I have another pair of Mephisto shoes which are very comfortable.

Proscomfortable
This is my second pair had black and patent ones about 3 yrs old. What a surprise these new ones are so much more comfortable, heaven and nice wide toe box. I got the 9 but they may be a little long so I'm waiting for the 8 1/2 to come and see which works best for me. Please make them in black leather again , the grey is nice but I prefer black with black soles and not suede because it gets wet. I use these for walking the streets of NY and have lots of foot problem. Please More Colors.
