Unless you have sensitive skin, this product does work and you will notice an almost immediate improvement, especially in decreasing the size of your pores. However, I've found that, for me, I cannot use this product on a daily basis and there are diminishing returns (like rashes), and I think it is because of the retinol in it. I think it works best if you alternate it with another product. That said, this product is stinky expensive (I received this as a gift). Why do these companies make their products so expensive? For that price, you might as well go to a dermatologist and be properly monitored.
Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, amazing at first
I received a sample of this cream and within a couple days my skin looked better than it has in a long time. It even cleared up my blemishes. After a couple weeks of using this cream however, my skin started to break out in major blemishes in places on my face where I haven't broken out since I was a teen. I had to return it. My skin is oily and acne prone. I do think this probably works wonderfully for people who don't have very sensitive skin.
Honestly the best face cream I have ever used, you feel immediate results! After using it I noticed my skintone was even and my face is so soft. Worth every penny, highly recommend!!!
This is by far the best night cream I've used--and I've tried many. I'm just finishing off my first jar. A little bit goes a long way (BA suggested a pea size for the whole face and I used even less than that) and mine lasted about 9 months. It's creamy but absorbs quickly. It's hydrating but doesn't leave skin feeling greasy. I use it about 3-4 nights in a row then take a one night break (use other moisturizer like La Mer for a night). I find that retinol sometimes makes some part of my skin (forehead, chin) a little flaky but that's how my skin reacts to any retinol products. I started using this after I had a bad flu last winter and my skin was so rough, bumpy and just haggard. I've always had good skin so I was really at my wits end. People always thought I'm 10-15 years younger than my age (I'm 46). Then I tried La Creme. I was a little skeptical, thought I needed to give it some time to work. Well, the first morning after my skin cleared up 80% then by the third day it was back to normal--refined and refreshed. I was away on vacation last month for 2 weeks and didn't bring this cream with me. My skin looked tired, fine lines were evident, the overall skin texture looked rough. I came back and resumed using La Creme and my skin is radiant again. I just ordered another jar!
