Chemical sunscreens usually clog my pros and make me break out! I gave this one a shot since I really like Chantecaille concealer. My skin loved it and didn't break out. I only wear a concealer.. but when I wear foundation, it works well with the sunscreen. It's expensive, but it's worth it and lasts me almost a year.
I purchased this not realizing it contained oxybenzone, which is a NO-NO chemical. I only purchase & use mineral/physical sunscreens. I returned due to this chemical in the primer.
I was hesitant at first to purchase this due to the price and due to the fact that I already had an spf 50 sunscreen by Obagi that I was using daily, but after using other products in the Chantecaille line (and loving them) and after reviving a sample to try, i took the plunge.
This is a very comfortable and and smooth primer/sunscreen. It is not pore filling, which is what I wanted. It feels very luxurious on the skin (I am a skinncare junky and use a lot of high end and natural products - La Mer, Sisley, Korres). I use it under the Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted moisturizer and it makes my skin smooth and radiant. The Just Skin only has spf 15, that is why I decided to take the plunge and purchase. It works well and I like it a lot. This primer has a thin and slippery texture which feels soothing - a little goes a long way. It is oil free and I love the scent. I’m a big Chantecaille fan and own many of their products. I gave it four stars because of the high price. I love the packaging in the tube, as is with many other products. Super light to carry and no fear of spilling or breakage. I will definitely purchase again, once I run out.
