I love this product because it has sunscreen in it along with my foundation. My daily moisturizer does not so having the SPF in my primer is important. I feel like it evens my skin tone out and provides the perfect backdrop before applying make-up, even just concealer.
I absolutely love this sunscreen and have been using it for years. I tried another brand that cost less and ended up returning it because it caused my skin to break out. Not only does Chantecaille provide excellent SPF protection, but it allows my makeup to glide on and distribute evenly. Chantecaille is top of the line and this SPF 45 is at the top of my list. It is worth every penny and lasts me approximately 9 months.
This is ridiculous to call a primer. It is a very oily feeling layer of grease. I tried it twice on my dry combo skin and it made my makeup go on poorly...settled in the pores and remained greasy all day. Very unflattering. 2 stars instead of one because it feels soothing/non-irritating to my skin.
