Love this as I usually do a smoky eye daily... needed a change and this is perfect! If you want that clean Angelina Jolie look, this is a great compact to achieve that look. The brown eye liner is so nice as well, I love using my black/grey smoky palette with the liner... it comes in so handy!

Proseasy to blend
I purchased Lifting amber,the problem I have is with the color pay off. I need to apply a lot of layers for the color to show. The palette is beautiful but for $60 I expected more color. It is easy to blend and if you take your time building up the colors it does look great. Probably for my NC35 skin I would need darker shades. The liner is excelent, no problem with that one.
I like the colors but the shadow texture is a little too soft in my opinion for it to apply as good as I like.

For once, I was really disappointed with a Dior product. I received this as a gift and was so excited to try it. I have this in the Lifting Ivory shade. The colors look very pretty and subtle in the palette but on the eyes they are so sheer and the only thing that you see is sparkle. The eye base it comes with in the center of the palette is so shimmery and I do not like a shimmery base. And the shadows are shimmery so paired with a shimmery base, it is overkill. Not that the shadows really last or make much of an impact but it's just too much sparkle and no actual COLOR. The liner was very dry but I was able to make a nice line with it. However, it wore off instantly. I agree with another reviewer who said the shadows just melted away on the eye and I agree, it's like they evaporate into nothing. I like the idea of having an eye base in the palette but at the same time, I would expect it to dry out quickly and I don't like having to waste that space where an eyeshadow could be. Same with the liner, it is already dry enough as it is, not sure how it would hold up over time but I'm guessing not well. Oh well, you win some you loose some! Still love Dior makeup!
