Nice basic cardigan

Prosversatile, comfortable, classic
Same as other reviewers, I also like these as a basic in my wardrobe. However, i disagree with my neighbor in Newport Coast.. I am also 5' 5" 120lbs & oddly enough, also a 34D. But I would not recommend buying an XS in this cardigan..it will be too tight. I like a nice, correct and classy fit. It is a lovely garment & doesn't need to be super tight to warrant compliments...people who recognize a nice, well-fitting garment will give compliments regardless.
I own a few of these & I have them in a small and they fit lovely. Not super tight in my chest area. Unless you are going for a super snug fit, a small for me fits perfectly.
And I have all of these dry cleaned, I wouldn't recommend putting them in a dryer.

Prosversatile, classic, comfortable
I'm obsessed with these cardigans. I don't love the price (at all#, but I love the effortless style and versatility these provide. I get compliments everywhere I go. I purchased my first in a dark reddish orange shade, then ended up with navy, beige, and dark fuschia. I love the fit of these, but I have purchased them in a few different sizes. I'm 5'5, 125lbs, and a 34D. The XS fits me perfectly for a tight, fitted look. I did not experience any pulling, my XS fits like a glove and does up perfectly over my chest. It's worth mentioning that I am a slender build as far as bones go, so that may have something to do with it. However, the XS is fairly fitted, and sometimes you want a baggier sweater for wearing over other shirts, or a looser fit for work or comfort reasons. I purchased a beige in Small #they didn't have XS# and that also fits. It is a bit looser than the XS and less tight/fitted. My navy and fuschia are actually mediums, but I shrunk them a bit so they fit like a small. Keep in mind that the Simone cardigans are either cotton or wool depending on which style you purchase, and both are materials that can shrink. If you wash these yourself, be careful and keep that in mind. In my case, I purposely put my mediums in the dryer on low for a few minutes to tighten them up. I would recommend #given the price# not experimenting with that and just purchasing the correct size :# In my case, I purchased them on sale and sizing was limited. The material on these is thin and lightweight, not exactly a hardy sweater, but nice for layering. The buttons are also kind of flimsy for the price, they are lightweight and not sewn on very tightly. I take the time to tighten the buttons with a few quick stitches so they don't hang face down when the sweater isn't buttoned up #although again, for the price, I shouldn't have to). These can be dressed up with skinny pants and a pair of heels, or dressed down with jeans and cute flats for more casual wear, and still look perfect and appropriate both ways. I like how the buttons dress up the piece, and give a classy, upscale twist to an otherwise ordinary sweater. Staples in my closet for sure! #Another tip if you buy the wool, it will pill more than the cotton, so avoid wearing it under coats/jackets as those will cause friction and make the fabric pill faster. Wearing the cardigan on its own and avoiding rubbing against chairs etc prolongs the look/life)

Horrible quality

This sweater was adorable but when I went to put it on it had to holes in it. It's way too expensive to be that cheap of quality so it went back. This was my first Tory burch clothing purchase. I love her shoes and jewelry and they hold up great. It was disappointing to know the clothing does not.
