This is a beautiful dress. However, it was too long for me. I am 5'6" and wore a 3 inch heel. when I tried it on. Sadly, I sent it back and chose another Nordstrom dress.

Great looking on the model...but the ruffles move around a lot (not sewn into place) and you feel like you are wearing Jerry Seinfeld's puffy shirt....
Wanted it to work but top to bottom, too much fabric. Seems like a simple enough dress. Not so much

Ladies, this dress is beautiful. The fabric is heavy, so you won't feel like you're wearing a sundress on steroids and travels well without looking like a wrinkled disaster. The silhouette is super flattering and the neckline is really lovely (I was concerned about looking like a circus poodle- not the case at all!!) AND YOU CAN WEAR A BRA. A normal one, no less! One that you can wear with a t-shirt and doesn't involve 16 clasps, boning, 5 different straps and tape! win!
Yea, its long, but its better to chop 3 inches off than to look like you out grew your prom dress...
I'm 5'6, 135lbs. 36-27-38.5 and the 6 fit almost perfectly (a tad loose in the waist, but thats the story of my life.)
I'm going to buy it in red, too.

I bought this dress for a formal occasion...it is very comfortable...but too long and needed to be taken up. ( Why do dress designers think women are 7' tall ! ) The dress is very elegant and true to size. I don't like side zippers and prefer back zippers, but this dress is easy to get into so the side zipper is OK.
