I bought this dress for my niece's wedding in September. However, when I received it, I thought it was "sequin overkill" and would be too much for my taste. Still a very beautiful dress and would work for a real special occasion. It fit true to size and was very flattering. I will have to return it; however, as it is just not for me.

I received my dress today and could not wait to open the box. When I ordered the dress the color I originally wanted was out of stock. THANK GOODNESS. The violet dress is beautiful! The 10P fits perfect. So many dresses for us older women are quite frankly frumpy. This is hip and classy. The sequins shine but do not make the dress look cheap. My husband never comments on my clothes but after he saw me in the dress, he said "WOW". I plan on wearing it to my 50th high shcool reunion and wanted a "knock em dead dress". I got it!! Can't wait to wear it.

This dress is beautiful however it appeared to be a size too small. I ordered another dress by the same designer and it fit me perfect, a size 12. I will be taking it back for that reason. If it had been true to size I might have kept it, as it is quite a stunning dress.

I will be wearing this dress to my daughter's wedding in October. I had been looking quite a bit on line and in stores. This dress fit very nicely and covered the stomach area nicely with its rouging. The fit is great, length is just below knee. I love the back as it comes to a v (not low though). It has plenty of sequins without looking to blingy. I first bought the dress in gray, as the men are wearing gray suits and the girls are wearing navy. However, after reading the reviews and my love for purple, I ordered this one and like it even more. It goes better with my skin tone (olive). It will be a very comfortable dress. I am able to move freely (and dance) without feeling confined, or uncomfortable. If there was one thing negative, I would say the sleeves are a tad long, however, I have small shoulders and will be having it altered in that area, so that may affect the sleeve length.
