I think these pants are great and have a really nice fit, but they are not my style. I prefer a tighter taper, these feel a bit "1990s" cut. otherwise, they are nice pants with a nice fit. I would also size down for a tighter fit. I am 5'4", 150lbs and the size 8 was a bit loose.
These pants fit great and are super comfortable. i plan on wearing them everywhere and to work out in. I am 5'4" and find them a bit long, but that may change after they are washed.

I have bought the Zella Booty Pant for several years. Last year I didn't buy any of the Zella pants. Now the one that says it's the booty pant is much more clingy in the thigh with a much bigger boot. The Balance Pant is baggier than the old Booty Pant, more for yoga or for running errands than for doing boot camp or spin. I miss the old pant, especially in colors like grey and not just in black.
