I purchased a pair of slim fit zellas a year ago and tried again in July to purchase another. Well I was given a pair of 'same' slim fit zellas only to find they were not the fit I wanted.
On a second or third try - I went to the Alderwood Mall Nordstroms, I found a very knowledgeable clerk that informed me the style I was looking for had been 'updated' and that specific style no longer existed. She gave me the 'new and improved' zellas and to my pleasant surprise, found they were what I was looking for. I love the zella line as they fit me well and the price point is that which is affordable.
They are so comfortable I ended up buying three pairs. Also, the fabric is of high quality, so much so that I've worn them to work dressed up with a nice top. The fit is very flattering. Love them!

Prosexcellent fit -, all occasn wear
My sister gave me Zella pants for Christmas two years ago and these are my all time favorite pants. They worked so well for every occasion that I never used them as sweat pants and wore them on a weekly basis! They are flattering to the figure, and work well under sweaters. They last and do not get those nits that some pants get. I ordered a replacement pair last week, not knowing what size to order (my sister couldn't remember). The hip-waist differential across the board for Nordstrom sizes is 10 inches. My difference is only 7 inches so I had to make a guess. I went with the size that fit my hips (size 6). These turned out to be smaller than the pair my sister ordered. Suitable for workout, but too tight & showing underwear lines for wearing in public. I'm now gonna order one that fits the waist snugly and is 2 inches larger than my hips - size 8. Will keep you posted!

I am a Zella lover so I got my mom a pair of these, knowing you want to order smaller (want them more snug) I got her an 8. She loves them! Zella is an amazing brand and you can never have enough pairs. They don't ball up after washing them like Lulu Lemon does. I highly recommend getting yourself a pair of Zellas if you haven't already.
