This jacket is the perfect casual investment piece for the fall/winter. The olive color is darker than a traditional olive green, but still a great color.

I was concerned about sizing, particularly the arm holes and shoulders, because some British brands run very small on me. I purchased size 16 and it fits perfectly! The waist is slightly fitted and flatters my high waist/apple shape. The Olive is very dark, almost brown/black - not green. Beautifully constructed and tailored!!! It's midweight, perfect for Texas weather.

I purchased this coat in person to replace an olive colored coat from a fast fashion chain that had run its course. I am 5’4, 130 pounds, pear shaped, and the US6/UK10 fits beautifully with room for movement and some layering underneath. I tried the UK 8 as well but it was very tight around my hips when I zipped up. Sizing up was good. This coat is beautiful, fitted, understated, and I plan to purchase the detachable hood as well.
This is a gorgeous jacket. Classic British style and quality. We’ve had a super wet winter in Northern CA and this waxed jacket keeps out the dampness and wind. It is medium weight, with a lean cut that is surprisingly flattering. Love the pockets, interior zipped pocket quality trim. I wear a XS-S in most brands, 4-6 in Barbour, and a 6 is best in this style. All of the colors are fantastic. For me the black is the most versatile and a bit dressier than the other colors. Would purchase additional colors if on sale. Thank u Nordstrom for carrying Barbour!
