Too bad in quality
PostedFebruary 4, 2019
Colors of Barbour jackets sent to the US are extremely dull, black, sage, olive. Very disappointed in quality one can see how poorly they are sewn at the sleeve end I pulled two threads only from trying it on
The patterned lining very dull as well other luxury brands with patterned lining from Britain you know what brand I mean are extremely lush and luxurious for the money

Beautiful jacket
PostedJanuary 22, 2019
I bought this jacket as a birthday gift to myself this year. I was initially concerned about the fit because I am a usually a size 4 in most American stores but tend to size up to a size 6 for most European labels. Based on other reviews, I wasn't sure whether I should take the advice to size up from a 4 to a 6 or from a 6 to an 8. I ultimately decided to order a size 6 US/size 10 UK after much deliberation. Upon receiving the jacket, it fit's exactly as I had hoped — fitted enough to be figure flattering but loose enough to wear with a sweater. The construction is beautiful and I look forward to wearing this piece for years to come.

Size 0 Please
PostedJanuary 21, 2019
I adore the brand and like the classical look of Beadnell. Ordered US 2 and it felt a size large on my 5'3" 98lb frame. I have relatively broad shoulders and long arms. The sleeves have to be rolled up for me. It won't look that big if the sleeves were narrower. Since Nordstrom does not have US 0, I ordered US 0 from another retailer in Olive.

Navy Size 4
PostedNovember 22, 2018
I’ve been wearing a Barbour ‘Cavalry’ jacket in olive for four years and I love how warm and stylish it is. I’ve had my eye on the ‘Beadnell’ jacket in navy but everybody and their mama already has it. The rich deep, dark blue just pulled me in and I had to have it considering how much I love my first Barbour item.
I normally wear a size two, but the Barbour brand is very fitted, so I always go up one size to have room for medium weight shirt/sweater underneath. I’m 5’1” with a slim frame. The sleeves hit at my wrists and can be folded up to show the plaid lining. The length on me is just above my knees. I would strongly recommend buying the coordinating hood at the same time of purchasing the jacket so that they can fade together. This jacket isn’t insulated so it won’t be super warm in very cold temps (32℉ and below) and would require a liner/vest and/or layers. This jacket may be too warm for temps above 60℉.
I’m happy with my new jacket! I love it and would recommend it!
