Great jacket for cooler days. Thicker than I thought it would be, which was a nice surprise. Very flattering fit. Not boxy at all. I wear a size small or 4 in jackets, but ordered size 6 with this jacket and it fits perfectly. I can wear sweaters under it comfortably without restriction in shoulders/arms. Love this jacket and the sage color. Superb quality and craftmanship. Cannot wait for cooler weather! Will be perfect for my hikes and daily walks.
I wore this jacket to Scotland last week and while visiting the Isle of Skye we had a lot of rain and wind and this jacket kept me dry and warm. Exactly what I needed.
I had not seen the “coated canvas” feature before-it is good, but very heavy, and I didn’t think it would work for California. Great Jacket for rainy cold climates.
This jacket is really comfortable, the pockets are excellent and it's water resistant. It's comfortable for the average winter day in SoCal without the liner, but if you live somewhere chilly, you can add a hood and a liner. The jackets run a little large (I bought a US 6.) but I think this is in case you use the liner. The only issue with the jacket is the upkeep. You should probably send it to be rewaxed yearly and you can't really wash it. The wax can also rub off on lighter clothing. Despite the upkeep, I plan on ordering another in black because it seems sturdy.
