10N was a bit too narrow. 9.5M was a bit too short. 10M should be just right! Loved the style - plan to wear these with tights and shorter winter skirts. The patent gives enough polished pizazz to keep them from being stodgy. Unlike some oxfords I've tried, they don't look chunky - even in a size 10! I'm a "tween width" - narrow heel and medium toe box. The ties help customize the fit, so I'll be able to wear them with thin or thicker hosiery. The Monroe comfort and construction you've come to expect is all there: well built, great arch support, and supportive without anyone knowing.
I almost exclusively wear this brand of shoe so felt comfortable ordering it online. The only problem I had was that the shoes looked worn so I returned them.
