These shoes are exactly as described. I found them very comfortable and quite cute. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a casual but stylish shoe.
I really love the contrast between burgundy leather and Bordeaux patent leather. Yes, in person that is not black, but a beautiful deep wine at the toe cap and along the sides. Even though a extra wide width in my size was not available, the lace up design will allow me to adjust as needed until these stretch. Other than that, these are almost a home run and are a sassy looking comfort shoe. They pair we'll with jeans or slacks, so I will get a lot of use out of them at the office and on the weekend. These are reminiscent of something Elaine would have worn on Seinfeld....classy and quirky with a touch of cosmopolitan style.
These shoes are great for wearing with dress pants for work. They are so comfortable and yet look dressy because of the patent leather. I ordered the wine-on-wine version which looks great with grey, navy or black pants. I have a wide foot and have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable all day long. These shoes are comfortable all day and can easily be dressy enough for a night on the town.
This is a quality shoe that's very attractive and very comfortable. It is a great shoe for shopping and walking with good support and ribbed sole and heel for secure steps. I was surprised to find that the narrow (AA) width was narrower than average and I had to return the original shoes I ordered for a medium width. No problem, I had a replacement in just a few days. I simply called Nordstrom's to reorder and put the first pair in my mailbox to ship back. Great service.
