I have been buying these for several years. They look wonderful with black slacks, with heels or flats. Peolple notice them and think they are great.

good solution for short pants

bare ankles are okay with long slacks, but when I wear ankle pants or floods I want a little more coverage. Fishnets do that without looking like old lady sox, and these are thin enough that they are not a bother underfoot. They hold up pretty well, but would do better and be more comfortable in shoes if they had a reinforced toe. I can count on getting about 15 to 20 wearings from a sock before a toe pokes through the mesh and rips it.
