these shoes are small across the top of my foot, too short in length. They seem to be about 1/2 too small.

This may be my favorite shoe ever. First, it's hard to find stylish shoes for my size 11.5-12 feet. These look amazing. And, the heel is just the right height, and the beautiful herringbone detailing adds a gorgeous detail. The wedge gives you plenty of support. If you get sore feet give them a try. I can wear these dress shoes all day without flinching. Hooray!! So far I bought them in 3 colors and hope to get the rest. The gray is my favorite, and goes with everything. I've worn them about 6 months now and they're still holding up well, and the herringboned leather is not as delicate as you might think. Although I'm saying they are true to size/width, I will mention that for whatever reason the black pair I bought were too big, and falling off my feet. I've worn them a few times and managed, but I'm going to have to buy some foot pads or something to place in the shoe to make them stay on. The brown pair I bought also were just ever so slightly big, but the gray fit spot on.

Shoe looked better online. No problem with fit, but not attractive in person. Herringbone pattern nice--better than just plain brown--but was very shiny and "plasticy"(if that's a word!) in person. Glad for ease of return.

These are the perfect blend of comfort and special occasion. They're a subtle tone that that looks great with merlots, black, greys, etc. A little pricey but unique, they can add a spot of color to an otherwise neutral look or be worn with various red shades.
