Love these rain boots!
PostedApril 16, 2014
I had been contemplating purchasing these boots for a while and when Nordstrom had them on sale I went ahead an purchased them. I am only diassapointed because they run large. I usually wear a size nine and these are very big. I hope to return them for a size 8 1/2 and I can wear thick socks with them.

Not a good value for the money

Prosnot the best
ConsMedium width
I purchased this boot, the Merrell Captiva waterproof bootie, and the Bogs rain boot. This one came in last. The Captivas were nice but are waterproof leather and I decided I really needed a rubber rain boot. These were not for me. Very sloppy fit, quality was no where near the Bogs.

HALF SIZES ARE NEEDED!

Proswell made, stylish, versatile, nice lining
ConsMedium width
I purchased the Grey plus Green. The quality is excellent and the medium height is perfect to tuck in slim leg jeans, jogging pants or any bulky legged sport pants. The signature logo is a nice upper "design factor." Unless you know the boot or look closely you would not know it's simply Michael's logo. I don't like items that scream out a designer's initials. I wear a true 71/2 in foot wear. That is, size 7 left foot and 7 1/4, right foot. My foot is narrow but I basically order medium. This boot was too small in size 7. Even though my foot easily slid inside it was right up to the top of the boot. This would cause a serious problem in that the toe is quite hard and any extended walking in these boots would blister and/or cause pain by the end of the day. The size 8 is too large but I decided to purchase, anyway. I tried them on with really thick sports socks to fill up the foot area. The circumference around the leg was not a factor in the size 8 in that I only plan to tuck pants into the boot. My thin legs. You, however, cannot wear a larger size with a skirt if your legs are thin. These boots run "wide." That is, there is plenty of room for a thick sock. Since the boots are water proof they can be worn in the rain or snow. The best thing is that I paid only $47.99 at a different Retail Store ... thus I bought two (2) pair. I bought the large Michael Kors Hamilton in Grey to match to match the grey boots. And, I have a Ralph Lauren Green and Navy plaid handbag to match the green. I'm now ready for the rain or snow.

Better than Hunter
PostedApril 5, 2012
Prosadorable, comfortable
I bought a pair of Hunter boots and you would have thought I was a child walking around in my Dad's boots. They were huge. I ordered them in a smaller size and they were still huge and that was the second pair returned. I saw these Michael Kors midi rain boots and thought I would give them a try. I love them! They are adorable. I bought them in black and the base of the shoe is black but the shaft is more of a black/brown combo. They fit my feet perfectly and all I need is a regular pair of socks in them. Unlike Hunter, I don't have to purchase any special sock liners. The sad part is that I bought these at the end of a mild winter and didn't get to wear them this year. However, the weather has shifted back to cold again...so who knows...I might not have to wait.
