I was looking for a shimmery purple color, and that’s what I got in the Devotion shade. It’s darker...more like an eggplant. I like it on days when I just want to wear one shadow for that easy, put-together look.

In the 90’s they used to have such a wide array of colors! What happened to all the blues, greens, oranges and more?! These are all too safe and neutral cool toned. Bring back the amazing colors!!!
This formula feels nice and light applied on skin. However, the shimmer finish and its color together created an effect as if one had applied “shimmer chalk”. It had a “magnifying effect” on the slightest wrinkle you may have. It also does not like to be blended with other brand eyeshadows. It’s hard to work with and not flattering.
It is hard for me to find this color eyeshadow that I have been wearing for years that Bare Minerals make. Nordstrom has great prices and fast delivery.
