In dresses I wear an XL or 16. I read a review of this product that said "order down" a size, and I'm glad I did because if I hadn't, the purpose of the bodysuit would have been defeated and I would have had to return it. The crotch area has more material than necessary; however I think the reason for this is so you'll have an easier time unlatching the hooks to go to the bathroom. Large is a perfect size for me. I have a classic body shape, not curvy. I like the product because it hides what you want to hide and the open bra area allows you to wear the bra that fits best.

Prosvery comfortable
I absolutely love this bodysuit. It's very comfortable & the fact that your able to use your own bra makes it even better

Well, it is a wonderful thought that you can look like you have lost several sizes. However, the main function of this garment is to smooth out the lumps and bumps which is great for clingy or knit materials. The reality is you must loose weight if you want a thinner appearance.
