A sleek little boot that makes the foot look small. I normally take a ten in a flat, and in this I took a Euro 40 (9.5) with room for a thin sock or tights. Well made, nice detail, and more snug around the ankle than some booties. Pants would have to be slim cropped to meet top of boot, or over the boot width. Very comfortable but not cushiony. Never heard of the brand but got them at half-yearly sale for a great price.
I wanted them to work, but the vino/purple color was just a little too out there for me, in addition to being over-shiny. Sadly, they have been returned.
Love these boots! I did size up by half a size so I could stuff my winter socks and pants inside, but it's also comfortable with regular socks. I'm able to wear them all day in comfort. I received compliments within minutes.
I was looking for a comfortable boot to wear with pants, in a color other than black. These boots are a deep wine color, or what my Dad would have called "oxblood" with beautiful black details, and metal snaps. They were wonderfully comfy from the moment I put them on, and I even walked several blocks to lunch on my first day in them--no problem. Also, there's a nice tread n the bottom, so I won't worry about wearing them when it gets snowy and icy here in the northland. I absolutely adore the color---beautiful, different, and will wear them often.
