I don't norm wear flats, as I find the lack of structure to be uncomfortable. However, this shoe is the exception - and well worth the money - it is lightweight, but has plenty of arch support. The footbed is cushioned and very comfortable. I found them to be true to size. Wish they came in other colors!

Really beautiful shoes, fit is off

Really beautiful shoes. But in my normal size (38) they're snug in the front and slip off the back - where they rub against your heel and take some of the skin off. I put heavenly heels inserts into the back which helped with the right shoe but not the left. I'm going to try to use some moleskin on the left heel. They don't stretch out in the front like the plain Tod's leather, probably because of the patent. I'm working hard to make them work since they look so good.
I've worn these to walk around Indianapolis, Kansas City, Denver, D.C and New York. Always comfortable, always perfect with jeans or dress slacks for dinner. Wonderful support. I normally wear a 7.5 in better shoes, and this is a slight exception: I wear a 7 if I wear nylons, a 7.5 in Tod's if I wear a sock. I got these in a 7.5 so I could wear a wool trouser sock and they are wonderful.

Perfect city walking shoe

I have several pairs of this particular shoe and think it continues to offer a great combination of features. The fact that it is patent leather makes it both more weatherproof and dressy. It is a very comfortable shoe for walking and easy to slip off at airports. It pairs well with jeans or dress pants so that I don't have to pack too much. I would love to wear the lower Tod's loafers in all the fun colors and materials, but they hurt my feet and don't offer enough support. What would be perfect is that Tod's offer these in additional finishes !
