I was really excited to get this scarf as I needed more solid color wraps. It has been a bit disappointing in that it wrinkles extremely easily, almost just to the touch. Just by wrapping it around my neck, I give it lots of wrinkles that stay put. I have to keep pressing it or spraying it with wrinkle releaser just to keep it looking tidy and professional. That makes it a less versatile piece than I'd expected. I am keeping it as the color is nice and it's warm. I just wish it were lower-maintenance.
I've been looking at these wraps for several years, having given them as presents, and finally decided to get one for myself in Cherry Red. WOW. First of all, I love the size. It is quite generous without being bulky---wonderful either for throwing over a coat or for cozying up at home with a cup of tea. Second, the material is light and luxurious at the same time---perfect for travel. Finally, what a gorgeous color---a true Christmas red that pairs beautifully with my favorite neutrals. I will be buying this in more colors, since Nordstrom stocks it in so many at such a great price.
Color was a little brighter than expected. Exchanged for a different style.

I ordered a tissue weight scarf as a birthday present for a dear friend who lives out of state. I presume the scarf worked out just fine. However, there was no gift wrap available for this scarf, nor even, as I understand it, a simple greeting on the slip. I went from online ordering to ordering by phone to establish that the package, which weighed one pound, would not include the price on the order slip, and the very helpful, gracious person at customer service was able to confirm this. I was never sure if my friend could figure out upon opening the package that it came from me. I've been a Nordstrom customer since 1972, have always received excellent customer service, but I'm hoping Nordstrom can fix this one, as this is the only reason I didn't give the scarf five stars.
