Soft texture, bold color, but a bit delicate

Prossoft, delicate
I'm very pleased with this scarf. I was concerned it would be a bit scratchy because it's not 100% cashmere, but it's actually quite soft. I ran it through the washing machine on gentle before I wore it to soften it up a little. (I know, I know, but I like living on the edge with my woolens). It came out even cuddlier than it went in and is in great shape, but it is rather a delicate weave and is already getting caught on things easily. That's the problem with a tissue-weight wrap, I suppose, but it still works nicely as a winter scarf double-wrapped around my neck. Even during the polar vortex!
I got the Blue Poseidon color and it's a very rich color, quite nice and jewel-toned. Very flattering for a fall or winter skin tone.

Love the scarf, don't love the color
PostedJanuary 23, 2014
I have many of these scarves and LOVE, LOVE them. They are perfect for so many occasions and weather conditions.
I wanted a coral color for spring/summer but the Coral Sugar color had too much pink in it for my taste.

Cashmere Wrap
PostedDecember 22, 2013
Proswrap, soft and silky, verrstile
The wrap is very soft. I purchased several of these wraps a few years ago and they were made of 100% cashmere. They were wonderful. I was concerned that this wrap that is made of wool and cashmere would not be as soft and would be scratchy. It is not. It is a quality wrap and worth the purchase, especially since it comes in so many colors.

Best all-around cashmere blend wrap available
PostedDecember 20, 2013
Proswarm versatile
We swear by the Nordstrom tissue weight cashmere wraps, as being the perfect size, weight and hand to wear almost anywhere. They are perfect for carrying in a purse to pull-out for a bit of warmth in chilly restaurants, as a cover-up on airplanes, or simply as a scarf/layering piece for chilly weather. These cashmere/wool blend wraps, introduced by Nordstrom to replace the 100% cashmere wraps as a cost-savings measure a couple years ago, are a bit itchy, a bit less warm, and don't feel quite as nice as the originals. Still, the blend is the best wrap we have found in the $100 range, and we appreciate the wide range of colors available. But still we urge Nordstrom to please bring back the 100% cashmere wraps!
