Nice wraps, beautiful, vibrant colors

Over the years I'd got myself the tissue weight 100% cashmere wraps in various colors and loved them all. Last year one SA at Nordstrom told me the tissue weight wraps would not be 100% cashmere anymore due to the steep price of cashmere fabric worldwide, so I was pretty aware that some wool-y replacement would hit the floor. At first I paid no attention to them, as I already had so many cashmere wraps and the wool cashmere blend ones did appear to be wool-y. However Nordstrom brought in various vibrant colors, more so than the 100% cashmere version, and I just could not pass. As I do agree with a lot of reviewers here that the current version does not have the luxurious feeling of 100% cashmere we used to indulging ourselves with, still it is a delight with pretty colors and is reasonably priced. The cashmere blend wraps that I own hold up pretty well, and the price is great no matter you are buying it for yourself or as a gift.
Do I hope that Nordstrom brings back the 100% cashmere version? You bet. But I can totally see the price be in the $150 range, if not higher. For now, I am happy with the alternative cashmere blend version, and will definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend gave me a great gift. The quality is impeccable. There is a lovely diagonal weave to the fabric. The longer length makes it very versatile. Cashmere means cozy and warm.
I happened to find this wrap online and immediately ordered it. The quality is EXCELLENT. OMG...It's just too sad Nordstrom no longer sells these...replaced with current wool/cashmere wrap. This one is definitely much better quality. Nordstrom, please get these wraps back!!! I will buy several colors for myself at least and even more for gifts.

The description of "tissue-weight" is spot-on. This is a lightweight weave of wool and cashmere, very soft and surprisingly warm. It works very well wrapped several times around the neck to fill in the collar area of a coat, which is why I purchased it. Despite being a blend, it isn't scratchy at all and feels elegant.
I purchased the Green Lush shade and it is a delightful citron-lime color, great for picking up spirits in winter going into spring.
I would not rely on it as a sole wrap except perhaps on warm evenings in spring. It really functions much more as a wide, long scarf. Absolutely great for my purposes.
