conservative enough to wear during the day to work. just the right amount of sparkle for that natural glowing look without looking overdone.

I purchased the color New Moon. It is a very pretty rose color. I saw it on make up artists on YouTube. I had no idea there was this much glitter in it. Your whole eye will have heavy glitter, not just shimmer. I can deal with shimmer but this is heavy glitter. I put a Matt over it to make it wearable. This does effect the color. I applied it with my finger and the color was too intense. It applies much better with a brush.
I am not sure I would purchase this again. I would like a cream shadow that has very little shimmer. The staying power of this shadow is very good. Lasts over 10 hours.

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting, smudgable
If you want great glitter for an evening out this shadow is the ticket. It's big time glittery. Love it!

I saw a few swatches of this product and thought it was beautiful so despite the price, I ordered new moon to try out. I was very disappointed when I received the product and saw that it was dried and shriveled. I had to pry the eyeshadow off the top of the lid and when it dropped back into the container, it filled up about 2/3rds of the container. The product felt dry and the color faded. When I used it, I noticed the glitter but not the brown color.
I wrote to Nordstrom and appreciated the fact that they immediately sent me a replacement.
Unfortunately, the replacement had the same issue! At this point, I feel awkward about complaining to customer service again and I'll work with what I received. But disappointing to receive a subpar product from Chanel.
