These boots are SUPER cute, especially when you factor in the amazing sale price for the anniversary sale. They are so well made!! They do run a little small. I bought them for my 6 1/2 yo daughter who wears a 1.5, but they were tight, so i ordered the 2.5 hoping she'll have a little room to grow, so she'll make it through the fall with them.

I gave four stars because of usual Frye quality. At $130 full price, I think they should be up to adult quality standards. From the looks of them, they are not quite up to par. We bought a pair of Nordstrom brand boots for our little one last Fall -- she wore them out in a month. We were worried they lost support very easily. This time, we are trying the Frye ones because the anniversary price was so good. We shall see. Also, I don't know why these more expensive shoe companies can't come up with a more kid-friendly design. Maybe a bit more (attractive) reinforcement along the toe & heel, where the shoes are easily scuffed during play. Or maybe I should just buy my kids completely different shoes (if only they would wear the more functional ones, like keens).

These boots are nicely made. The color goes with everything. I paired them with dress or leggings. Even though the catalog shown a girl wearing them, but inside the boots shows "boys". I assume they are unisex.
