I recently decided I need new jeans, and I wanted to move away from my previous favorite bootcut style to something with a straighter leg. Yes, you read that right: while these are called bootcut, they are definitely a straighter leg than the NYDJ Sarah Stretch Bootcut (the leg opening is a full 2" less in diameter), while keeping the same flattering fit and comfortagle fabric I love.

These jeans are very comfortable and fit great just like all NYDJ. I have quite a collection at this point and order both 0 and 0 petite. It seems that the petite are better fitting (5'3", weigh 96 lbs), but are a bit short. The regular ones have to be hemmed unless I wear 4" heels which I don't. Always wash the dark jeans before wearing!

This is my 2nd pair of NYDJ. Love them just as much as the 1st pair. I thought they were pricey until I realized that Ibypass all the others to wear these again and again. Great fit, durable, flattering. Worth the money.
I am a true NYDJ aficionado and love my Barbara Stretch Bootcut Jeans in the Blue wash, size 10. Could not figure out why the supposedly identical jean - in black, same size - was way too small. I could have ordered another pair to see if this pair was a one-off but decided to go with a different NYDJ style. Nice fabric though - good quality, well made.
