I have been searching for black jeans for a while. These are perfect. So many have to be hemmed, as I am short. Not these, as they come in petite, for us shorter ladies. They are stretch, and thus forgiving of some of the changes that time and nature have wrought. Comfort has moved up in importance, but looks are still important too. These jeans are both comfortable and stylish. In other words...perfect!
I am tall (5'10) and curvy, and these jeans are just great. I wore my last pair until they wore out after 3 years. The waistband tends to stretch so I just took little tucks to make the waist band smaller and they fit wonderfully, stretch just the right amount, do not bag, and look great. I suggest either line drying or low heat to keep them fresh as long as possible. This time I bought two pairs instead of just one.
