Petit should fit me well. I am 5'3"". But the rise is too short, and the pants are cutting below waist line in a very unflattering way. Will take the advice of another reviewer and try the regular length, and take advantage of the alteration service Nordstrom is offering.

Prosversatile
I have many pairs of NYDJs and like the quality and style; however, once I reached my 70s I seem to have developed a tummy that no amount of exercise will diminish. It would be nice if NYDJs would develop a line of jeans/trousers for us older gals with a higher waistband so that the button in front isn't right at or below the navel. The waistband at the natural waist line would be best for folks in my age group or anyone with a tummy.

NYDJ wins again

Prossophisticated, trim, legs look longer
I love these - although I have been buying and enjoying straight cuts, these are terrific. They are LONG - need to wear heels with a 33 inch inseam.
