This tunic fits very well and is a great layering piece. The material is thin and sheer, but not too delicate. I love the lace insets. It does ruffle out a good amount (but not too much) at the bottom, but since the material is so thin, it isn't too bulky when worn underneath other pieces.
I just love Free People and had my eye on this tunic to wear with my Free People Ruffle Hem Jacket. Finally it went on sale (at a great price!) and I snapped it up in the white. It can be layered with a cute jacket and worn over jeans, paired with leggings or just worn as a dress. The white is semi-sheer, requiring a camisole or something underneath. Really happy with this; well made, nice fabric. At 5'2" it's a little long - would not recommend for anyone who is very petite - might be too overwhelming. Ran true to size - usually Free People I have to go down a size.
My 16-year-old daughter tried this tunic on at the Seattle Nordstrom, and we both fell in love with it. She wanted it specifically for her future senior pictures. Knowing how much she loved it, I wanted to play it down a bit, so I told her we'll keep looking. Meanwhile, I spoke to the saleswoman about making this a Christmas gift. She ordered the item for me and it recently arrived to my home. My daughter has no clue! It's a gorgeous tunic that can be worn as a top or, as she wants to wear, underneath a lace dress. It's a little "young" for me, otherwise I'd borrow it!
