Birks are having a fashion moment due to their simplicity, comfort, and heritage. I got these in the black oiled leather because I had some other birks that were highly uncomfortable. This seemed inconsistent with the brand, and I deduced that I had ordered the incorrect size. For reference, I am typically a size 6.5-7 and almost always a size 37 Euro. My birks that were too big were a size 37/6. My black oiled leather birks are a 36 aka size 5. That may seem crazy, but keep in mind that birks run big and you need to size down - but it should be based on your European size. Birks sizing is 36/5, 37/6, 38/7, 39/8, etc. If you typically wear a size 8 and wear a 38 or 38.5 European, you should order a 37 aka size 6. I think this is why so many people find the sizing to be confusing and end up returning these shoes. If you feel more comfortable, order your normal size and a size down and see which one works best.
literally the most comfortable shoes ever, plus they go with everything. the tan color is my favorite because you can dress it up or down! love!

Proscomfortable
I love my Birks! Im so happy when I wear them. My mom isnt too into them but whatevsss!! Im so comfy and i love the color. I might get them in a darker brown soon.
