I haven't had a pair of these sandals for 20+ years but when I saw them for sale here I used my Beans Bucks to get a pair. They are just as comfortable as I remember! Great foot support, especially for the arches. I was worried about which size to get so went to the Birkenstock Web site and used their size chart to measure. I'm usually a 5.5 or 6 and the size 36 fits perfectly! I'm thrilled LL Bean is carrying these, and hope they broaden their selection for even more!

Sooo comfy and what a great price! I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks the last 2 years and I can’t find another comparable sandal at the same comfort level!
